Two anglers wading a misty river at dawn
Izak.

A day with Izak.

The easiest way to explain what Izak does is to follow one angler through one day. Here’s the day.

Before you hit the water.

You wake up and ask Izak where to go tomorrow, within two hours’ drive. Not a list of lakes. Two or three places it’s confident about, with the reasons: weather, water levels, recent rain, what’s been caught there lately, the time of year.

You ask what to take. It knows the rods you own, the river, what’s been working. You’re missing something. No same-day delivery, but there’s a shop ten minutes from the access point with everything in stock.

You ask it to sort the permit and find a guide within your budget. It shows you three, with what they’re good at and if they’re available. You book. Then where to park, which area to fish first, and a knot you’ve never tied, step by step.

While you’re out there.

You arrive. Everything’s handled. You meet your guide and get fishing. You catch your first fish and take a photo.

Izak does the rest. Species, size, where, the weather, the water, the fly. You add four words, “unreal spot, come back in spring”, and get back to fishing. The photo with your guide is saved for later. Nothing to type, nothing to remember.

Your spots stay yours. Private by default, shared only when you say so.

And long after you’ve packed up.

Tired, happy, and hungry. You ask where’s good nearby. Not the top-rated place on a map, the place anglers go, on your route home.

That night the day is already in your logbook. Any bait, lures or flies you’re running low on are noted. Your guide’s in your contacts. The photo’s ready to share, if you want to. And when the season closes, Izak is still there: the videos, the trip you’re planning, the knot you still can’t tie.

The parts of Izak we are building.

Ask Izak

Your personal guide. Where to go, what to take, how to tie it, what that fish was. Built on a curated reference of tackle, species and technique, and honest about what it doesn't know.

Logbook

Take the photo. Izak logs the species, size, place, weather, water and what you caught it on. Your personal bests, your seasons, your spots, private by default.

Tackle bag

Everything you own, in one place, so Izak's advice is about your rods, not rods in general. Knows when you're running low.

Go fishing

Maps with your private spots and public waters, access points, parking, guides, charters and permits. The trip, planned in one place.

Social

Your catches, your friends' catches, competitions and leaderboards. Share to the group chat or keep it in the family.

Content

Videos, tips and stories from creators and guides, chosen for the fishing you do. A trout angler doesn't get carp stories.
